About Us

Akshaya Old Age Home and Home Nursing Services (R)

Our NGO's work is essential as it provides care, dignity, and support to the elderly while empowering marginalized communities through meaningful initiatives.

Established on November 30, 2016, in Rajajinagar, Bangalore, Akshaya Home Nursing Services has been serving the community for the past 11 years. With branches in both Bangalore and Mysore, we provide home nursing services that are reliable and affordable. Our team of well-trained and well-mannered nurses offers compassionate care to elders, assisting them in their day-to-day activities. We aim to ensure that every elder under our care enjoys a comfortable, healthy, and dignified life. Currently, 12 elders reside at our Bangalore branch, receiving personalized attention and support. Our focus is on providing the best nursing services to our esteemed guests at reasonable prices. At Akshaya, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the elderly by offering the highest quality care.

Akshaya Old Age Home – A Place of Care and Compassion

At Akshaya Old Age Home in Bangalore, we provide a loving and supportive environment for the elderly. Currently, 12 elders reside with us, enjoying companionship and care in a homely setting. Our services focus on their physical, emotional, and social well-being, ensuring they live with dignity. Till date, 57 elders have benefitted from the care and support we offer at our home. We are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of the elderly, offering them a place to call home.

Meditation and Exercise for Our Elders

At our old age home, we provide regular meditation and exercise sessions for the elders. These activities promote physical health, mental well-being, and emotional balance. Our team ensures that each session is tailored to the abilities of our residents. By engaging in these practices, the elders stay active, relaxed, and more connected to their inner peace.

On October 11, 2024, Akshaya Old Age Home organized an awareness program in Mangalore. The event aimed at raising awareness and providing support for indigenous communities. It was a significant initiative to empower and uplift these marginalized groups in society. Our goal was to bring attention to their rights, culture, and overall well-being.

On March 8, 2024, we celebrated Women's Day with joy and enthusiasm at our old age home. All the elders participated and enjoyed the event, creating a lively and warm atmosphere. The celebration honored the strength, resilience, and achievements of women in our community. It was a day filled with happiness, unity, and recognition of the wonderful women in our care.

World Senior Citizens' Day Celebration - 2023

The district-level senior citizen sports and cultural event was held on 25th September 2023. Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore was filled with the vibrant spirit of the elderly. Participants showcased their talents in various sports and cultural competitions. The event aimed to celebrate and honor the active senior citizens of the district. It was a day of joy, unity, and recognition for the wisdom and experience of elders.

Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration at Our Old Age Home

On November 1st, 2023, we celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with joy and pride. The elders delighted in flying kites, filling the sky with colors. We hand-prepared kites in vibrant yellow and red to honor the occasion. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and the spirit of Karnataka!
